Prediction methods and model downloads
Skylark learns from retained aircraft observations to estimate short future positions and the first time an aircraft will be observed on the ground. These are experimental predictions. They are not air traffic instructions, official arrival times or navigation guidance.
Contains information from adsb.lol, made available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. Skylark offers its derivative model contents under the same licence.
Download the complete machine-readable methods offer. It contains executable source, code digests, normalization and timestamp rules, approved source selection, retention, partitioning, fitting, calibration, evaluation, promotion, serving methods and relevant configuration. Method program copies carry the included MIT permission notice.
Each learned forecast includes its model version and matching download URL in its API licence metadata. The immutable model download includes coefficients, feature encodings, supported domains, uncertainty calibration, provenance and the exact versioned methods URL. Downloads are free.
Model and complete method versions are also available through /api/learning/artifacts?version=VERSION. Use the model download's methodVersion for its bound complete method. The origin preserves these immutable downloads independently of the collector's runtime files, including when an older offer names a static methods URL.
The ETA target is the first observed on-ground fix. Physical landing happened within an uncertain observation interval. A threshold-crossing estimate is a separate target; interpolating between observed fixes does not establish an exact touchdown time. Expired references, stale observations and unsupported inputs cause fallback or abstention.
The offer excludes credentials, private operational state, observation databases, community station records, unapproved provider data, aircraft photographs and official aeronautical publications. Reference configuration identifies its independent source provenance; this licence does not grant rights in third-party publications.
